Ports, Customs & Borders
Screening that does not
stop the queue.
Touchless vehicle inspection for terminals, customs authorities and border posts across the GCC. Undercarriage imaging for security screening and condition capture for damage attribution — in the same pass, at terminal throughput.
The constraint
Inspection depth costs queue length.
At a terminal or a border post, thoroughness and throughput pull against each other. A proper undercarriage check means a mirror, a pit or a lift — all of which stop the vehicle and stop the line behind it. So checks get sampled, and sampling is exactly what a determined party plans around.
Damage claims have the same shape: without a record at the gate, liability for a scratch discovered later attaches to whoever is least able to argue.
What changes
Every vehicle, not every tenth.
The undercarriage module captures a 4K line-scan with distortion correction as the vehicle rolls over it at up to 10 km/h, with a reaction time under one second. The ARCH records the exterior at the same time and plate recognition binds both to an identity.
Screening becomes a hundred-percent operation rather than a sample, because it no longer costs the queue anything.
Configuration
What a gate typically needs.
Undercarriage Scanner
4K line-scan, IP65 floor unit at 88 mm or IP67 flush in-ground. Detects foreign objects, structural change, leaks and corrosion.
IdentityLicence Plate Recognition
Automatic number-plate recognition on entry, binding every scan and every image to a specific vehicle without manual entry.
VolumeDRAGATE PRO Commercial
4.5 m arch for trucks, buses and trailers up to 4.0 m, with multi-angle true-colour capture and plate and colour identification.
Duty cycle
Engineered for continuous operation.
Rated IP65 to IP67 and specified from −10 °C to +50 °C for 24/7 duty, with remote diagnostics and over-the-air updates so a gate does not need a technician on site to stay calibrated.
Questions
Common questions from terminal and customs operators.
Does the undercarriage unit require civil works?
Not necessarily. The floor unit is 713 × 707 × 88 mm and sits on the existing surface, so no excavation is required. Where a flush surface is mandatory, the in-ground variant is 1400 × 900 × 244 mm and rated IP67.
Can the data stay inside our network?
Yes. Processing runs on a local server as well as in the cloud. For authorities with data-residency requirements, local deployment keeps images and records on your own infrastructure.
Does it handle heavy vehicles?
Yes — see heavy and commercial vehicles for the full commercial specification.
How is it delivered to the region?
Equipment is priced EXW Shanghai. Delivery DAP to a GCC airport starts at around USD 10,000 per complete system; an all-inclusive package covering site delivery, installation and operator training is available on request.
