Heavy & Commercial Vehicle Inspection

Heavy & Commercial

Trucks, buses and trailers
at full height.

The DRAGATE PRO inspects commercial vehicles up to 4.0 m in a single drive-through pass, with tread measurement rated to a 13-tonne axle load. Built for logistics operators, bus fleets and heavy-vehicle inspection across the GCC.

The problem

Heavy vehicles are inspected least where they matter most.

A truck is harder to inspect than a car in every dimension: it is taller than a person can reach, its underside needs a pit, and it carries up to ten tyres that each have to be measured individually. So in practice the check gets shortened, and tyre depth — the item most directly tied to road safety and to insurance exposure — becomes a spot check.

Downtime makes it worse. A vehicle held for inspection is a vehicle not earning, so pressure runs against thoroughness at exactly the wrong moment.

What changes

The vehicle never stops.

A 4.5 m arch structure captures the full exterior with multi-angle true-colour imaging while the vehicle rolls through at up to 10 km/h. Tread is measured across a 900 mm effective width in the same pass, with a report in seven seconds.

Inspection stops being an event that takes the vehicle out of service and becomes something that happens on the way through the gate.

Where it runs

Gates, depots and terminals.

Logistics yards, bus depots, port terminals and customs posts — anywhere heavy vehicles already pass a control point. For security screening alongside condition capture, see ports and customs; for return and recharge workflows, see fleets and leasing.

Questions

Common questions from heavy-fleet operators.

Does it measure every tyre on a multi-axle vehicle?

Yes. Tread is measured as each wheel passes the sensor, so every axle is captured in the same drive-through rather than sampled.

What power supply does the commercial arch need?

380 V at 11 kW. The passenger platform runs on 110–220 V.

Can we run cars through the same lane?

The commercial arch is dimensioned for heavy vehicles. Mixed sites usually run a passenger lane alongside — see the catalogue for the passenger platforms.

How is it delivered and installed?

Equipment is priced EXW Shanghai. Delivery DAP to a GCC airport starts at around USD 10,000 per complete system. An all-inclusive package covering delivery to site, installation and operator training is available on request.
